Legal
Terms and
conditions.
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to all website design and development services provided by siteworld.com.au, owned and operated by Scott Mackenzie from our offices at Eastland. By engaging us, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and pricing
Our advertised prices are $995.00 for a small business website and $4,200.00 for an ecommerce website. Quotes are based on the scope discussed with you and remain valid for 30 days. Work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately and will be agreed with you in writing before it begins.
3. Payment
A 50% deposit is payable before work commences, with the balance due before the website goes live. Invoices are payable within 7 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide the content, images, logos and information we need in a timely manner, and to confirm that you have the right to use everything you supply to us. Delays in supplying materials may delay delivery.
5. Revisions and approval
Your project includes reasonable rounds of revision during the design stage. Once you approve the final design and the site goes live, further changes may be chargeable.
6. Ownership
Once the final invoice is paid in full, you own the completed website and its content. Any third-party components, fonts, plugins or stock images remain subject to their own licences. We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
7. Hosting, domains and third parties
Domain registration, hosting and third-party services may be arranged on your behalf but are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes caused by those providers.
8. Liability
We take care to deliver quality work, but to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the services in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or business. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel a project at any time in writing. Deposits are non-refundable, and you will be invoiced for work completed up to the date of cancellation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
